Light Roast

Prime Solaris Blend

Origin: Ethiopian Highlands β€” Yirgacheffe Region
Altitude: 1,800–2,200 meters above sea level
Process: Washed (wet-processed)
Harvest: October – January

Prime Solaris Blend is our flagship light roast, sourced from a family-run cooperative in the Yirgacheffe region of southern Ethiopia β€” widely regarded as the birthplace of coffee. The high altitude and rich volcanic soil produce beans with a naturally complex, wine-like sweetness that requires very little roasting to express.

In the cup, Prime Solaris Blend delivers delicate floral aromas of jasmine and elderflower, followed by a clean, bright acidity reminiscent of white peach and bergamot. The finish is long and sweet with a gentle lemon-zest lift. Best enjoyed as a pour-over or Chemex brew to fully appreciate the nuance.

Midnight Blend

Origin: Colombian Andes β€” Huila Department
Altitude: 1,500–1,900 meters above sea level
Process: Honey (semi-washed)
Harvest: April – June, October – December

Midnight Blend is Orange Brews' best-selling roast, and for good reason. Sourced from small farms nestled in the Huila department of the Colombian Andes, these beans undergo a honey process β€” where some of the fruit mucilage is left on during drying β€” which contributes a natural sweetness and round, full body that sets Midnight Blend apart from typical Colombian offerings.

The cup profile is approachable and deeply satisfying: rich caramel sweetness leads into a dark cherry mid-palate, with a clean, slightly chocolatey finish. Midnight Blend performs exceptionally well across every brew method from drip to espresso, making it the ideal all-rounder for households with multiple coffee drinkers.

  • Roast Level: Medium
  • Acidity: Balanced / Medium
  • Body: Full

Dark Roast

Dark Roast

Midnight Slate

Origin: Sumatra β€” Mandheling Region
Altitude: 900–1,500 meters above sea level
Process: Wet-hulled (Giling Basah)
Harvest: May – August

Midnight Slate is built for those who want their coffee bold, dark, and unapologetic. Sourced from the Mandheling region of northern Sumatra, these beans are processed using the traditional wet-hull method β€” a technique unique to Indonesia that produces coffee with a distinctively low acidity, heavy body, and earthy depth that is unlike anything else in the coffee world.

The roast is pushed to the second crack, developing rich notes of dark chocolate and roasted cedar, with a lingering smokiness that makes Midnight Slate the definitive espresso-base bean. It also excels in a French press, where the full-immersion brew amplifies the body and complexity.

  • Roast Level: Dark
  • Acidity: Low
  • Body: Heavy / Bold
  • Sweetness: Bittersweet
  • Flavor Notes: Dark Chocolate, Cedar, Smoky Molasses
  • Best Brew Method: Espresso, French Press, Moka Pot

Medium-Dark Roast

Blend Medium-Dark

Crimson Dawn

Origin: Central American Blend β€” Guatemala & Honduras
Process: Washed
Harvest: December – March

Crimson Dawn is our only blended roast, combining beans from two neighboring Central American countries β€” Guatemala's Antigua region and Honduras's Marcala valley β€” to create a roast that is greater than the sum of its parts. The Guatemalan component brings toasted almond and brown sugar sweetness, while the Honduran beans add a subtle red apple brightness and creamy body.

The result is a medium-dark roast with enormous versatility: sweet enough to drink black, yet structured enough to cut through milk in a latte or flat white. Crimson Dawn is particularly popular among customers who want a step up from supermarket coffee without fully committing to the intensity of a dark roast.

  • Roast Level: Medium-Dark
  • Acidity: Low-Medium
  • Body: Medium-Full
  • Sweetness: Brown Sugar, Toasted Nut
  • Flavor Notes: Brown Sugar, Toasted Almond, Red Apple
  • Best Brew Method: Drip, Espresso, Flat White

Citrus Bloom

Origin: Kenya β€” Nyeri County, Aberdare Range
Altitude: 1,700–2,000 meters above sea level
Process: Washed, double-fermented
Harvest: October – December (Main Crop)

Citrus Bloom is the bean that inspired the Orange Brews name. Sourced from a washing station in Kenya's Nyeri County β€” one of the highest-altitude growing regions on the continent β€” this coffee undergoes a double fermentation that dramatically intensifies its natural citrus and berry character.

In the cup, expect an exhilarating burst of blood orange, ruby grapefruit, and blackcurrant, with a clean, tea-like body and a long, juicy finish. If you've never experienced a Kenyan single-origin coffee, Citrus Bloom is the place to start. It's vivid, complex, and utterly distinctive.

Decaf β€” Medium Roast

Decaf Medium Roast

Velvet Orange Fog

Origin: Colombian Andes β€” NariΓ±o Department
Altitude: 1,600–2,100 meters above sea level
Process: Swiss Water Process (chemical-free decaf)
Harvest: April – June

Velvet Orange Fog is proof that decaf doesn't have to mean dull. Sourced from the NariΓ±o department of Colombia β€” one of the country's most prized growing regions β€” the beans are decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, which uses only water and osmosis to remove 99.9% of caffeine without any chemical solvents. This preserves the bean's natural flavor compounds in a way that chemical processes cannot.

The result is a medium roast with a silky, enveloping body and notes of vanilla cream, roasted hazelnut, and a subtle caramel sweetness. Velvet Orange Fog is perfect for evening coffee, for those with caffeine sensitivity, or for anyone who simply wants to enjoy great coffee later in the day without compromising sleep.

  • Roast Level: Medium
  • Caffeine: 99.9% removed
  • Body: Silky / Full
  • Sweetness: Vanilla, Caramel
  • Flavor Notes: Vanilla Cream, Hazelnut, Caramel
